We are looking to recruit a retail supervisor for our shop in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. The role is a permanent part‑time position with a minimum of 24 hours per week, generally including some weekend work.

Responsibilities
- Support the shop manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage shop operations in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy environment.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
- Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Friendly, positive, hardworking approach.
- People‑oriented with strong relationship‑building skills.
- Trustworthy and reliable, capable of supporting a small team and delivering at all times.
- Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS/Disclosure Scotland check when offered the position.
