We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. This permanent position is 39 hours per week, working a variety of shifts across five days a week, and requires full flexibility including weekends.

Responsibilities
- Support the manager as part of the management team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent service to customers.
- Take full responsibility for running the shop during the manager’s absence, ensuring customer care, quick deliveries, and completion of shop routines for a safe, clean, and tidy environment.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop your team of retail assistants.
- Take responsibility for controlling operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- A people person who easily gets on with everyone and builds strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable, dependable by both team and customers.
- Some experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or a similar industry is preferred, but early‑career candidates are encouraged to apply.
