Overview
Warehouse Operative – Hours: 37.5 hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £13.69 – £14.85 per hour. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more! We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Monkspath – Solihull, West Midlands.
Shift Patterns
- We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available, working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day.
- Day shift – From 08:00 to 16:00
- Night shift – From 20:00 to 04:00
Pay, Working Hours & Benefits
- Hourly pay rate of £13.69 per hour for day shifts (£10.90 if you are under 21) and £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if you are under 21).
- Guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full time positions.
- Overtime is regularly available.

Responsibilities
- Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops.
- Keep accurate records.
- Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
- Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.
- Most warehouse operatives start with us picking orders; however, there may also be opportunities beyond this to work in our goods in and loading operations.
Requirements
- To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons).
- To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
- A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
- Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
