Retail Assistant – Part Time
Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week.
Pay: £10.95 – £12.81 per hour.

About the role
We are looking for a new retail assistant to join our team. This is a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days from the start of each week, including weekends.

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves to prepare for customer purchase.
- Work with the rest of your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shop safe, clean and tidy.
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy – the role involves juggling deliveries, till service, customer assistance on the shop floor, cleaning, stock rotation and more.
- Reliability – you will be an important part of a small team, and colleagues and customers will depend on you to perform at each shift and not let the team down.
- Flexibility with shifts – when teammates are on holiday we may need you to work slightly different hours to cover. Rota\’s are planned three weeks in advance and your commitments outside of work will always be taken into consideration.
