Retail Assistant – Part Time
Location: Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees.
Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week. Included: weekends.
Pay: £10.10 – £12.31 per hour (depends on age)
- £10.10 per hour for ages 16‑20
- £12.31 per hour for ages 21+

As a Retail Assistant you will
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Provide fast, friendly till service, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression.
- Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and shelves.
- Work with your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy – juggle deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation.
- Reliable – you are an important part of a small team, and we depend on you to deliver your best on each shift.
- Flexible – ready to cover for team members during holidays; rotas planned three weeks in advance with consideration of outside commitments.
