We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Supervisor for our shop in Swansea. This is a permanent full-time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days a week.
Key Details
- Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days.
- Pay: £13.61 per hour (guaranteed at least £476 per week).

About the Apprenticeship
The apprenticeship is 12 months long and includes:
- Working in a busy shop and learning supervisory responsibilities.
- Regular pre‑arranged visits from an assessor via Microsoft Teams.
- Regular completion of apprenticeship coursework.
- Essential skill progression in Communication and Maths (if applicable).
- Assessment at the end of the 12‑month training.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find and purchase items.
- Provide fast and friendly service at tills, including packing assistance and a friendly goodbye.
- Handle stock safely during deliveries, placing products onto shelves or into freezers.
- Assist the team with daily and weekly routines to keep the shop clean and tidy.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and support the manager in leading the team and providing great service.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A friendly, positive, hardworking approach.
- Enjoy being busy; able to juggle multiple tasks from deliveries to tills to organising team members.
- Reliability – dependable for each shift and able to avoid letting the team down.
- Flexibility with shift patterns; able to cover for colleagues when needed.
- Ensure all apprenticeship provider work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check before employment.
