We are looking to recruit a Customer Service Apprentice for our office, based in Monkspath, Solihull, B90 4NU. This is a permanent, full-time office based position.
What does the apprenticeship involve?
- Working in a busy customer service department and learning how to be a great customer service advisor for the first six months.
- Experience running and managing a small team while learning how managing a Farmfoods department works, with on-the-job training.
- Regular pre-arranged visits (every 6 to 8 weeks) from an assessor from our apprenticeship provider. In between visits, regular reviews will be conducted via webinar, telephone and video call.
- Regular completion of apprenticeship coursework.
- Completion of functional skills in English and Maths (only if required).
- Completion of an assessment period (3-months), including a final end-point assessment at the end of the 12-month training programme.
Pay, working hours and benefits:
- A starting salary of £25,397, with a potential salary review after 6 months, depending on progress and achievement of KPIs.
- A Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship Qualification.

Role Summary: Farmfoods are a family business who pride ourselves on offering our customers great value, quality products from clean and tidy shops with the friendliest team in retail. We are looking for our future leaders and the Customer Service department is an essential part of our business and as an Apprentice Customer Service Advisor you will be required to support your team in all aspects of their daily operations including; answering telephone queries and complaints from customers and shops, responding to emails, postal duties, accurate record keeping and reporting.
By the end of your apprenticeship, not only will you be confident in your ability to respond to a variety of Customer Service requests, but you'll also be able to run the Customer Services team.
