Shop Manager – Full Time

45 hours across 5 days per week.

Responsibilities
- Lead by example, run day‑to‑day operation of a busy shop.
- Motivate and inspire the team to deliver high service.
- Recruit, induct and develop the team through coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are maintained safely and cleanly.
- Control key shop costs and achieve KPI’s, reporting directly to the area manager.
- Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate people in a busy environment.
- Strong people skills, able to build working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable; essential for a small team.
- Experience as a manager or assistant manager.
- Full driving licence desirable, but not required if other criteria are met.
- Will complete a Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check where required.
