Retail Assistant - Part Time in Sheffield

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Woodseats, Sheffield. This is a permanent part‑time position working a minimum of 8 hours over 2 days per week, typically across a variety of shifts including weekends.

Hours & Pay

• 8 hours across 2 days per week
• Pay: £10.95 – £12.81 per hour, depending on age (16‑20 = £10.95; 21+ = £12.81)

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help with packing and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care, working deliveries and quickly placing products into our freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Reliability; you will be an important part of a small team and must perform well on each shift.
• Flexibility with shifts; team coverage may require slightly different hours.
