We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. This is a permanent 39‑hour full‑time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days each week, with flexible weekend availability.
Hours: 39 hours per week across 5 days.
Pay: £13.61 per hour (minimum £530 per week). Overtime may be available.
Holiday: 30 days per year.

Responsibilities:
- Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent service to customers.
- Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy environment.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the team of retail assistants.
- Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.
Qualifications:
- A friendly, positive, and hard‑working approach to work.
- A people‑person who easily builds strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Trustworthy and reliable, able to be an important part of a small team.
- Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries (preferred but not mandatory).
