We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Annan, Dumfries and Galloway. This is a permanent full‑time role of 39 hours per week, involving a range of shifts on five days a week with flexibility required for weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manager as part of the management team to run the shop efficiently and provide excellent service.
  • Take full responsibility for the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy environment.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
  • Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

  • A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
  • A people person who builds strong working relationships.
  • Trustworthy and reliable, dependable to team and customers.
  • Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar; entry‑level candidates welcome.
  • Commitment to complete Employment Verification and Basic DBS/Disclosure Scotland checks if offered.
