Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Accrington, Lancashire. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days each week, including weekends. This position may not be suitable if you are not available for weekday evenings and weekend days.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and on shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shop safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy and able to switch between deliveries, tills, customer service and cleaning.
• Reliability; being an important part of a small team and not letting the team down.
• Some flexibility with shifts, especially when covering for colleagues on holiday.
