We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Mexborough, South Yorkshire. This permanent part-time position requires a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days each week, including weekday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Base pay range:
- Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week.
- Pay: £10.10 – £12.31 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
- Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.
Qualifications:
- A friendly, positive, hard-working approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do – juggling deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation.
- Reliable and an important part of a small team – colleagues and customers depend on you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
- Flexibility with shifts – rotas are planned three weeks in advance and your commitments outside of work will always be taken into consideration when planning your shifts.
