We are recruiting a new retail assistant for our shop in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire. This permanent part‑time role requires a minimum of 8 hours worked across 2 days per week, with evening shifts on weekdays and full days on Saturday and Sunday.
Key Details
- Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week
- Pay: 16‑20 years old = £10.95 per hour | 21+ years old = £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Assist customers in locating items they need.
- Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, offering help with packing and leaving a positive impression.
- Handle stock carefully while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and shelves.
- Collaborate with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy and handling multiple tasks – delivering, serving on the till, assisting customers, cleaning, and stock rotation.
- Reliable, dependable for a small team; dependability is essential.
- Flexible with shift patterns; ready to cover for teammates when needed.
