Retail Assistant – Part Time, Evenings & Weekends
Location: Little Hulton, Salford. Position: Permanent part‑time with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days from 7 each week, including weekends. Availability required on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
- Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week.
- Pay: £10.10 – £12.31 per hour (Ages 16‑20: £10.10; Ages 21+: £12.31).

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a positive impression.
- Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and shelves.
- Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.
Qualifications / Requirements
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach.
- Enjoy being busy with varied duties (deliveries, till, shop floor, cleaning, stock rotation).
- Reliability and commitment as an important member of a small team.
- Flexibility to cover shifts when teammates are off; rota planned three weeks in advance with consideration of outside commitments.
