Retail Assistant – Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

Location: Little Hulton, Salford. Position: Permanent part‑time with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days from 7 each week, including weekends. Availability required on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

• Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week.
• Pay: £10.10 – £12.31 per hour (Ages 16‑20: £10.10; Ages 21+: £12.31).

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a positive impression.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

Qualifications / Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach.
• Enjoy being busy with varied duties (deliveries, till, shop floor, cleaning, stock rotation).
• Reliability and commitment as an important member of a small team.
• Flexibility to cover shifts when teammates are off; rota planned three weeks in advance with consideration of outside commitments.
