Pay: £13.61 per hour. Guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week (approximately £272 per week). Overtime may be available.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
  • Run the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy environment.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the team of retail assistants.
  • Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.

Qualifications:

  • A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
  • A people person who easily builds strong working relationships.
  • Trustworthy and reliable, dependable for the small team and customers.
  • Some experience as supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or similar industries (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to complete Employment Verification check and Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if successful.

Contract Details:

Position: PTSV, Hours: 20 per week. Permanent part‑time role with a variety of shifts, generally including some weekend work.
