We are recruiting an Apprentice Supervisor for our shop in Pontypridd. The role is a permanent, full‑time position with a 35‑hour week, paid at £13.61 per hour. You will receive at least £476 per week and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly smile and concise greeting.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide efficient service at the tills.
- Handle stock safely, including deliveries, placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
- Participate in daily and weekly routines that keep the shop clean, tidy and ready for customers.
- Open and close the shop, manage cash, place orders and support the manager in leading the team.
- Attend regular pre‑arranged visits from the apprenticeship provider, conducted via Microsoft Teams video call.
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and essential skills in communication and maths (if applicable).
- Complete the assessment at the end of the 12‑month training programme.
Qualifications & Requirements

- Reliable and dependable as an integral part of a small team.
- Flexible with shift schedule; rota is planned three weeks in advance and takes individual commitments into account.

- Pass an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if offered the position.
