Position: Retail Supervisor at Farmfoods shop in Paisley, Renfrewshire. 39 hour full-time role with flexible shift coverage across 5 days a week, including weekends.

Hours and Pay

  • Hours: 39 per week. Daily schedule: 5 days per week, 7-hour shifts (flexible across week).
  • Pay: £13.61 per hour, guaranteed minimum 39 hours per week (£530 per week). Overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great customer service.
  • Be responsible for running the shop in the manager’s absence ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries handled quickly and shop routines completed.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
  • Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Requirements

  • A friendly, positive, hard-working approach.
  • Good interpersonal skills – a people person who builds strong working relationships.
  • Trustworthy and reliable to serve as an important member of a small team.
  • Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome.
  • Ability to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS/Disclosure Scotland check if offered.
