Responsibilities

  • Support the store manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and deliver excellent customer service
  • Take full responsibility for operating the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly, and shop routines completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop a team of retail assistants
  • Manage operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll

Qualifications

  • Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
  • People‑oriented, easy to build strong working relationships
  • Trustworthy and reliable, dependable to the team and customers
  • Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries (preferred but not mandatory)
