We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Chadderton, Oldham. This is a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours across 5 days per week, including weekends.
Pay & Benefits
- Hours: 20 hours across 5 days per week
- Pay: Ages 16‑20 = £10.95 per hour; Ages 21+ = £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities
- Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting
- Help customers find the items they are looking for
- Provide fast and friendly service at tills, assist with packing, and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
- Handle stock and deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and on shelves for customers to buy
- Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
- Enjoy a busy environment, handling deliveries, till service, cleaning and stock rotation, and other tasks
- Reliable and dependable as part of a small team
- Flexible with shifts, willing to work slightly different hours to cover for teammates
