  • Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Driver
  • Hours: Days (Early morning starts between 2am-5am) working 5 on 3 off. - Pay: £18.22 per hour. - Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more!

We are looking to recruit both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Details about the new site are included below:

Address = Logicor Park Daventry, Royal Oak Way N, Daventry, NN11 8QL.

Induction starts on Monday 24th August.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available which usually includes at least one weekend day.

We may also have some part time work available.

Pay, working hours & benefits

We offer an hourly pay rate of £18.22 and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week. If you're looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

The majority of our shifts start in the early hours of the morning (between 1am and 6am) and end early to late afternoon.

As one of our drivers you will

  • Complete delivery drops to shops.
  • Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and tail lift.
  • Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks
  • Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.

You will need

  • Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
  • Digital tachograph & CPC card.
  • No greater than 6 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements.
  • A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
