Retail Assistant - Part Time
- Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Nelson, Lancashire. This is a permanent part‑time position, working a variety of shifts with a minimum of 12 hours per week over 3 days, including weekends.

Responsibilities
- Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer assistance with packing and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for sale.
- Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hardworking attitude.
- Enjoy being busy and adaptable: from deliveries to till work, customer assistance and routine cleaning/stock rotation.
- Reliability: dependable, attend all shifts and support the team without letting them down.
- Flexibility with shifts – ability to cover for colleagues and accommodate personal commitments.
