We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Montrose, Angus. We offer a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days per week, including weekends.
Pay & benefits
- Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week.
- Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour. The amount depends on age: £10.95 per hour for ages 16-20; £12.81 per hour for ages 21+.

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Give fast and friendly service at tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and shelves ready for customers to buy.
- Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hard-working approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy; able to switch between deliveries, till, shop floor, cleaning and stock rotation.
- Reliability; dependable as part of a small team.
- Flexibility with shifts; able to cover for colleagues during holidays and plan around other commitments.
