We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Forton Road, Gosport. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days from 7 each week, including weekends.
Base pay range: £10.10 – £12.31 per hour (Ages 16‑20 = £10.10, Ages 21+ = £12.31)

Responsibilities:
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, including packing assistance and closing with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for customers to buy.
- Work with the rest of your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.
Requirements:
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy with constant tasks; you’ll jump from deliveries to till service, customer assistance, cleaning, and stock rotation.
- Reliability – you must be dependable as an important part of a small team and be ready to give your best on each shift.
- Flexibility with shift times; rota planned three weeks in advance and your external commitments will be considered.
