Job Overview

Apprentice Supervisor – Leeds Morley. 35 hours per week across 5 days.

£13.61 per hour from day one

. Full‑time permanent apprenticeship of 12 months with a level‑3 Customer Service Specialist apprenticeship.

6 weeks holiday

Responsibilities

  • Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile.
  • Help customers find the items they are looking for.
  • Provide fast and friendly service at the tills and offer help to pack.
  • Handle stock with care while working deliveries, placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
  • Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop clean and tidy.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
  • Complete regular pre‑arranged visits from the apprenticeship provider and review progress via webinar, telephone or video call.
  • Complete apprenticeship coursework and functional skills in English and maths (if required).

  • Enjoy being busy and having a variety of tasks each shift.
  • Reliable – an important member of a small team.
  • Flexible with shifts, covering for colleagues when needed.
  • Ensure all apprenticeship provider work is completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if hired.
