Join to apply for the Shop Manager role at Farmfoods. We are looking to recruit a new shop manager for our shop in Erith, Bexley, Greater London. This is a permanent full‑time position working 45 hours per week across five days.

- Base pay range: £32,944 – £46,483 per annum.

Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and get involved in day‑to‑day shop operations.
- Motivate and inspire the team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent customer service.
- Recruit, induct and develop team members through coaching, mentoring and feedback, building a pipeline of talent.
- Ensure customers are looked after, deliveries run quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
- Control key shop costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll to achieve all KPI’s, reporting directly to the area manager.
- Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A friendly, positive and hardworking approach to work.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate people in a busy and challenging environment.
- A ‘people person’ who builds strong working relationships with everyone.
- Trustworthy and reliable as you will be an important part of a small team.
- Experience as a manager or assistant manager.
- A full driving licence is desirable. Applicants without a licence but meeting all other criteria are welcome to apply.
