Shop Manager – Full Time
We are looking to recruit a new shop manager for our shop in Ponders End, Enfield, Greater London or surrounding areas.
This is a permanent full‑time position working a variety of shifts across five days a week.

Responsibilities
- Lead by example and engage in day‑to‑day shop operations.
- Motivate and inspire the team to deliver efficient service and a great customer experience.
- Oversee recruitment, induction and ongoing development of team members, including coaching, mentoring and feedback.
- Ensure customer needs are met, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
- Control key shop costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll, to meet KPIs.
- Maintain standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive and hardworking approach.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate people in a busy environment.
- People skills: able to build strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable, able to perform to a high standard at all times.
- Previous experience as a manager or assistant manager.
- Full driving licence desirable; if not possessed, still welcome to apply.
- Ability to complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland); employment subject to a satisfactory check.
