We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours of work each week, generally including some weekend work.

As one of our retail supervisors you will:

  • Be an important part of the management team, supporting the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
  • Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are handled quickly, and shop routines are completed safely and cleanly.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop your team of retail assistants.
  • Take responsibility for controlling operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

You will need:

  • A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with staff and customers.
  • Trustworthiness and reliability—your team and customers depend on you.
  • Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is desirable, but we welcome those taking their first steps in retail management.
  • A completed Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check, where required.
