Retail Assistant – Part Time
We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours per week across 4 days, including weekends.
Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week.
Pay: £10.95 – £12.81 per hour.
- Ages 16‑20: £10.95 per hour
- Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
- Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy, comfortable jumping between deliveries, till service and shop floor duties.
- Reliable and dependable – an important part of a small team.
- Flexibility with shift changes when teammates are off.
- Ability to complete an Employment Verification check.
