The predicted salary is between 43000 - 52000 £ per year.

Full time 40 hours per week. Based in our vehicle maintenance unit (VMU) at our depot in Blairlinn, Cumbernauld. Within this role you will receive £20.70 per hour. The Shift Pattern available will be bi-weekly:

  • Week 1 = Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Week 2 = Monday to Friday: 10:00am - 6:30pm

Please note that within this role you will be required to work one out of four weekends from 8:00am to 4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday, with alternate rota days off.

The role will involve:

  • Maintaining their fleet of vehicles and trailers which consists of Mercedes, Renault and Scania tractor units along with a variety of multi-temperature trailers, curtain sliders and box trailers.
  • Carrying out inspections, repairs and testing.
  • Diagnosing faults.

You will need the following qualifications and experience to be considered:

  • Level 3 City & Guilds Maintenance of Heavy Goods Vehicles (or equivalent)
  • Diagnostic equipment and fault tracing resulting in first time repair
  • MOT preparation

In addition if you have experience in any of the following please let them know in your application:

  • LOLER experience and tail lift repair (desirable)
  • Multi temperature trailers and fridge repairs (desirable)
  • CE licence (desirable)
