We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Crewe, Cheshire. This is a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days a week, including weekends.
Please note that this position will require you to be available for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. This position may not be suitable for you if you are not available to work at these times.

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Give fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
- Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- Comfortable being busy, jumping from deliveries to serving at the till, helping customers on the shop floor, completing cleaning and stock rotation routines, and more.
- Reliability – dependable as part of a small team; colleagues and customers will depend on you to perform best on each shift and not let the team down.
- Flexibility with shifts; may need to work slightly different hours to cover teammates. Rota planned three weeks in advance with commitments taken into consideration.
- Complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
