Buying Assistant – Commercial Department at Farmfoods, the leading frozen food retailer in the UK.
Location: Monkspath, Solihull.
Employment Type: Permanent.
Hours: 40 per week (Mon – Fri, 8.30 – 5.30).
Start Salary: £26,000–£28,000.

- Place orders and forecast demand
- Set up transfers between depots
- Perform competitor price comparisons

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong numeracy and literacy skills, and the ability to work to deadlines. A good academic record is required, including a grade B in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent). Further education is desirable; a degree is not essential. Retail experience is highly beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with in‑house software, is required. The candidate will work closely with senior management and suppliers, so confidence and communication skills are essential.
