Role Overview
We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Bolsover, Derbyshire. The position is a permanent part‑time role, working a variety of shifts with a minimum of 24 hours per week, generally including some weekend work.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the manager within the management team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent customer service
- Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the team of retail assistants
- Take responsibility for controlling operational costs including shrinkage, waste, and payroll
Required Skills & Experience
- A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach to work
- People skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Trustworthy and reliable, as a key member of the team
- Experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or a similar industry (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if hired
