Apprenticeship Overview
Work in a busy shop and learn supervisory duties. Regular assessment visits every 10–12 weeks by apprenticeship provider. Periodic reviews via webinar, telephone and video call. Complete apprenticeship coursework and functional skills in English and Maths (if required). Assessment at end of 12 months of training.
Responsibilities
- Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find items and provide fast, friendly service at tills.
- Handle stock deliveries and organise products in freezers and on shelves.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and tidy routines.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and support manager in team leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
