Responsibilities:
- Support manager and lead the shop team to deliver efficient operations and excellent customer service
- Take full responsibility for shop operation during manager's absence, ensuring customer service, deliveries, and routine tasks are completed safely and tidily
- Open and close shop, handle cash, place orders and develop team of retail assistants
- Manage operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll
Qualifications:
- Friendly, positive, hard-working attitude
- Strong people skills and ability to build working relationships
- Trustworthy and reliable, dependable in a small-team environment
- Previous experience as supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industry (preferred but not required)
- Willingness to complete Employment Verification and DBS/Disclosure check if offered
