Retail Supervisor – Part Time
We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Walsall, West Midlands.
We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 24 hours work each week, generally including some weekend work.
Pay & Benefits
We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.61 and will guarantee a minimum of 24 hours work per week, giving at least £326 per week. Overtime may be available.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the manager as part of the management team and lead the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
- Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop a team of retail assistants.
- Manage operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- A people person who builds strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable, dependable as part of a small team.
- Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries, or enthusiasm to take the first steps in a retail management career.
- Completion of a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check, confirming no previous or unspent convictions.
