We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Harlow, Essex. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days from 7 each week, including weekends.
The amount you earn depends on your age:
- Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
- Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Make all of our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
- Help customers find the items they are looking for
- Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
- Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy
- Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep shops safe, clean and tidy
You will need:
- A friendly, positive, hardworking approach
- Enjoy being busy with tasks such as putting out deliveries, serving on the till, helping customers on the shop floor, cleaning and stock rotation
- Reliability as you will be part of a small team; colleagues and customers will depend on you
- Flexible shifts; rosters are planned three weeks in advance and outside commitments will be considered when planning shifts
