Overview
Retail Assistant – Part Time
We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. This is a permanent part time position with a minimum of 20 hours across 4 days per week, including weekends.
Pay & Benefits
- Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
- Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour
- 6 weeks holiday each year

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting
- Help customers find the items they are looking for
- Provide fast and friendly till service, assist with packing, and leave a positive impression
- Handle stock with care during deliveries and stock rotation
- Work with the team to keep the shop safe, clean and tidy
You will need
- A friendly, positive, hardworking approach
- Enjoy being busy and able to switch between tasks (delivering, tills, helping customers, cleaning, stock rotation)
- Reliability as part of a small team
- Flexibility with shifts; three-week rota planning and consideration of outside commitments
