We are looking to recruit part‑time retail assistants for our shop in Redruth, Cornwall. We can offer a range of part‑time contracts with various shift patterns available.

Key Information

  • All positions involve weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
  • Help customers find the items they are looking for.
  • Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
  • Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers.
  • Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

  • A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach
  • Enjoy being busy and handle multiple tasks such as deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning, and stock rotation
  • Reliable and a key part of a small team, with strong dependability
  • Flexibility for shifts; willingness to cover different hours as needed, with rosters planned three weeks in advance and consideration of personal commitments
  • Successful completion of an Employment Verification check (sent via email if hired)
