We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf. The position is permanent and full‑time, with a 39‑hour work week across five days.
Hours & Pay
- Hours: 39 hours per week, spread over five days, with flexible shifts including weekends.
- Hourly pay: £13.61, guaranteeing a minimum weekly wage of £530.

Responsibilities
- Support the manager and take full responsibility for shop operations in the manager’s absence
- Ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain safety, cleanliness, and tidiness
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop and manage a team of retail assistants
- Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
- Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
- Trustworthy and reliable, dependable in a small team environment
- Prior experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or similar industries is an advantage, but entry‑level candidates are welcomed
- Ability to pass an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS/Disclosure Scotland check
