We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf. We offer a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days from 7 each week, including weekends.
Pay depends on age:
- Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
- Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour
As one of our retail assistants you will:
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
- Help customers find items they are looking for
- Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, help with packing, and leave a positive impression with a thank you and goodbye
- Handle stock with care, assist with deliveries, and place products into freezers and on shelves quickly
- Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy
You will need:
- A friendly, positive, hard-working approach
- Enjoy being busy with tasks ranging from deliveries to till service, cleaning, and stock rotation
- Reliability as part of a small team
- Flexibility with shifts; 3-week rotas planned in advance and outside commitments considered when planning shifts
