Retail Assistant – Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 3 days per week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

• Pay: £10.10 – £12.31 per hour (age dependent: 16-20 = £10.10; 21+ = £12.31)

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find items and provide fast, friendly service at the tills, including packing and a polite goodbye
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, placing products onto freezers and shelves for customers
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep shops safe, clean and tidy

You will need

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach
• enjoyment of being busy and flexibility to switch between tasks (delivering, till work, customer assistance, cleaning, stock rotation, etc.)
• Reliability as a member of a small team; colleagues and customers depend on you
• Some flexibility with shifts; rosters are planned three weeks in advance and outside commitments will be considered
