We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekends.

The amount that you will earn depends on your age:
- Ages 16‑20: £10.10 per hour
- Ages 21+: £12.31 per hour

As a Retail Assistant you will:
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
- Help customers find the items they are looking for
- Give a fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
- Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for purchase
- Work with the rest of your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy
You will need:
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
- To enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks: deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning, stock rotation, etc.
- Reliability – you will be an important part of a small team; colleagues and customers will depend on you to do your best each shift and not let the team down
- Flexibility with shifts, as rota’s are planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside of work are considered
