We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. We offer a permanent full‑time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We may also have some part‑time work available.
Shift patterns:
- Day shift – From 06:00 to 14:00
Pay, working hours & benefits:
We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.69 per hour for day shifts (£10.90 if you are under 21) and £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if you are under 21). You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full‑time positions and, if you’re looking to earn a bit more, overtime is regularly available. You will also benefit from:

Responsibilities:
- Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops
- Keep accurate records
- Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse
- Work within the health and safety requirements of the site
Most warehouse operatives start with us picking orders; however there may also be opportunities beyond this to work in our goods‑in and loading operations.
Qualifications:
- To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to health and safety reasons)
- Physically fit, as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
- While not essential, experience of working in a warehouse environment or with manual handling equipment is a plus
