We are looking to recruit a Canteen Supervisor who will be responsible for preparing hot & cold food at our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
Induction starts in August.
Pay, working hours & benefits
We are looking for a full time Canteen Supervisor working a mixture of shifts - Mainly mornings and afternoons. The contracted working hours per week will be 37.5 hours over 5 days. The pay will be £14.63 per hour. This can be discussed with the hiring manager.
Duties
- Food preparation tasks
- Cooking and counter serving of meals
- Receiving and moving of deliveries to kitchen storage
- Replenishment of fridges
- Cleaning of kitchen utensils, appliances and surfaces
About You
This is a busy canteen, so the ability to work under pressure is essential. Candidates should also be able to communicate effectively and possess general numeracy and literacy skills. Food hygiene is very important, so a basic food hygiene qualification would be desirable as well as an understanding of workplace health and safety.
