The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
HGV Mechanic, Full time 40 hours per week. Based in our vehicle maintenance unit (VMU) at our depot in Blairlinn, Cumbernauld.
The Shift Pattern available will be bi-weekly:
- Week 1 = Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Week 2 = Monday to Friday: 10:00am - 6:30pm
Please note that within this role you will be required to work one out of four weekends from 8:00am to 4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday, with alternate rota days off.

The role will involve:
- Maintaining their fleet of vehicles and trailers which consists of Mercedes, Renault and Scania tractor units along with a variety of multi-temperature trailers, curtain sliders and box trailers.
- Carrying out inspections, repairs and testing.
- Diagnosing faults.
Qualifications and experience:
You will need the following qualifications and experience to be considered:
- Level 3 City & Guilds Maintenance of Heavy Goods Vehicles (or equivalent)
- Diagnostic equipment and fault tracing resulting in first time repair
- MOT preparation
Additional desirable experience:
- LOLER experience and tail lift repair (desirable)
- Multi-temperature trailers and fridge repairs (desirable)
- CE licence (desirable)
