We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Avonmouth, Bristol. We offer a permanent full‑time position and have a variety of shift patterns available, working five days a week from 7:00 each time, including at least one weekend day. Some part‑time work may also be available. This vacancy is for work in our frozen/chiller environment with temperatures between –18°C to –25°C.
Shift patterns:
- Day shift – 06:00 to 14:00
- Late shift – 14:00 to 22:00
- Night shift – 22:00 to 06:00
Pay, working hours & benefits:
We offer an hourly pay rate of £14.49 per hour for day shifts and £16.91 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours per week for full‑time positions, and overtime is regularly available for those who wish to earn more.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops.
- Keep accurate records.
- Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
- Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.
- Most warehouse operatives start with us picking orders, but there may also be opportunities to work in our goods in and loading operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Be aged 18 or over.
- Physically fit, as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to meet productivity targets.
- Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- Experience of working in a warehouse environment or with manual handling equipment is a plus, but not essential.
