We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Avonmeads, Bristol. This permanent part‑time position offers a variety of shifts with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
- Help customers find the items they are looking for
- Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, assist with packing, and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
- Handle stock carefully while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers
- Collaborate with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
- Enjoy being busy with constant tasks ranging from deliveries to till service, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation
- Reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team whose performance each shift matters
- Flexible with shifts; when other team members are off, you may need to work slightly different hours to cover for them. Rotas are planned three weeks in advance, taking commitments outside of work into consideration
- Complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position; the check will be sent by email and will confirm previous employment history against HMRC records
