Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Trunking Driver

We are looking to recruit both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Avonmouth, Bristol.

We offer a permanent full‑time position and have a variety of shift patterns available, which usually includes at least one weekend day. Some part‑time work may also be available.

  • Shift patterns available
  • Sunday to Thursday – 48 hours per week (start 4–6pm)
  • Tuesday to Saturday – 48 hours per week (start 4–6pm)
  • Sunday to Monday & Friday to Saturday – 40 hours per week (start 4–6pm)

Responsibilities

  • Complete delivery drops to shops.
  • Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and tail lift.
  • Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient approach to driving.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
  • Digital tachograph and CPC card.
  • No greater than 6 points on your licence and no dangerous driving or drink‑related endorsements.
  • A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
