Warehouse Operative Hours and Pay

  • 37.5 hours per week across 5 days
  • Pay: £13.69–£14.85 per hour (aged 21+) and £10.90–£12.35 per hour (under 21)
  • 6 weeks holiday

We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington. We offer a permanent full‑time position with a variety of shift patterns, including at least one weekend day.

Shift Patterns

  • Night shift – 22:00 to 06:00

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops
  • Keep accurate records
  • Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse
  • Work within health and safety requirements of the site
  • Potential opportunities in goods in and loading operations

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18 years (Health and Safety reason)
  • Physically fit and able to meet productivity targets
  • Friendly, positive and hard‑working approach to work
  • Experience in a warehouse environment and/or manual handling equipment is a plus but not essential
